Well, today is the last day of August - and I'm seriously hoping that it will start cooling off soon... Fall is just around the corner after all - and these triple degree digit temperatures are getting a little old... oh don't worry, I won't be spending another summer here - though I think I'm actually going to move back to Oregon - where it's cooler, and I have good friends waiting... Portland or Salem? Not sure about that - but definitely one of them.
I've got some work to do for KW today, watching the kids and such - so starting at 2pm, I'm going to be major busy - but it's cool - makes the time go faster.
Yesterday I had lunch with my brother - it went really well. It was SO nice to see him! And I plan on driving out to his house to visit with him and his wife and baby soon. Obviously I have to take care of that while I still have transportation. :)
Tomorrow is payday - which is good. I've been waiting for that - and today I should get a check as well - hopefully.
My good friend Karen is coming down to visit me for a week - I can't wait to see her because I miss her - and we're pretty friendly, lol... we'll have a good time together I'm sure.
C is in New York and I miss her already - but good, no GREAT, things are happening with her and I couldn't be happier FOR her. She's such an awesome person, she deserves the best.
Just a note - since I've made my MySpace private to anyone I don't have some sort of personal relationship - I will try to update this journal more often. So others will know what's going on with me - the ones that are interested anyway, lol.
I guess that's about it - I should start getting ready for the day with the kids.
