Writer's Block: Summer Break

How did you spend summers when you were a kid?

Traveled around a lot - like to Yellowstone National Park and places like that. It was a family thing, sort of like the Brady Bunch, lol.

Random Updates

Wow - haven't been here in a long time... guess I'm just too into greatestjournal, lol... cause it's free... ;)

But, since I've paid for a year of this place, I guess I should use it. Seems like wasted money otherwise - and I certainly don't have the money to waste...

Anyway, I'm going to make these posts public from now on - at least for awhile. I don't care who knows what's going on with me - I have nothing to hide. :) Though I will continue to monitor my comments because of the losers out there with nothing better to do than leave stupid comments - and not being brave enough to leave a name - on a strangers journal. I have one message to those people; GET A LIFE LOSER!

Okay, now that that's over with - here's what's going on with me:

I'm still working my tail off for K, with the kids, her official site, her MySpace, and now her FaceBook... but it's cool, I enjoy my job - and at least I have something to do every day, lol.

I will be moving to Los Angeles the first of October. Yep, finally decided to get out of this horror hell that some people call Vegas. This will be my last summer in this town - YAY!! I can't wait to get out to the sunny shores of California - where all my friends are. :) Not that I don't have friends here, but my BEST friend and that whole crowd is in Cali - so that's where I want to be. She's excited too - can't wait for me to get there. I chose October (it was originally going to be August) because it will be cooler - plus K asked me to stay and take care of things until she's finished with her cruise performances, so I agreed.

Okay, that's about it for the updates - I know, not that exciting eh? Oh yeah, one more thing, I broke up with the person I was seeing. No tears - I didn't like the fact that the person never called or seemed to want to see me - even though I was told it was "love", they never showed it. I don't have time for that. Relationships are a two-way street, it takes two to make it work, etc...

Now, THAT's the updates - I have to go now... I'll see if I can remember this place so I can use it more.

Busy Couple of Days

I had an extremely busy couple of days Friday and Saturday... the good news is that I've found the apartment I want to move into - all I have to do now is convince my boss that going up in rent is a necessity and not just bullshit... I mean, come on, how can I live in a studio with ONE door and NO windows?? It's ridiculous - plus, it's all made of brick - hello? What do the build kilns and fireplaces out of - and why? TO HOLD IN THE HEAT!!! There is NO way I'm spending another summer in this place... so, if they don't want me on the next bus to where-ever, they need to up my pay - right? SO right...

After reading that I'm sure you're assuming I'm in a bad mood - but I'm really not. I have today off, so I've been able to catch up on some things... plus I know I can relax... PLUS I also know that KW is going to home tomorrow night - yay! I've missed her...

Anyway, so yeah, I'm going to go read some more...

Tuesday Ramblings

First of all - it's my best bud's birthday!! So Happy Birthday out to Christy... though I don't think she'll be reading this, lol... I still wish her the best...

I'm at the ranch right now - and boy is it WINDY outside! It's good though cause it means that it won't get as hot... at least, I don't think it will... anyway, I have to leave in two and a half hours to pick up the kids - just a regular Tuesday for me...

Other than that, not much going on... I did talk to Christy this morning, and she's in a great mood... probably thinking of the party tonight... and I talked to Chrissy as well, trying to get a trip to NY together next month - I think I've got it figured out, but we'll see what happens...

Another Monday

I haven't been writing much, I know - but there hasn't been anything astounding going on... mostly bad news - like I will NOT be attending Christy's birthday party tomorrow night, which sucks BIG time... I really wanted to go - one, to be there for her BD - and two, just to see her - and three, to get out of town for a couple of days... ah well, sometimes life just doesn't work out the way you think it's going to...

Something weird is happening with some other friends of mine, hopefully I'll find out today what it is - and if it's not TOO personal, I'll make a note of it here...

I'm heading out to Los Angeles again this month - this time to help celebrate Christy's birthday... should be fun. I'm taking a friend with me and we're going to stay overnight... I can't wait!!!

My Very Best Friend

I love Christy R - I swear to God I don't know what I would do without her in my life - I'm so lucky to have her as a friend... so grateful...

We had a VERY long talk tonight on the phone - a good talk... an important talk. She advised me of something - that I promised I would do. And I will do it too - because I never break a promise... and she knows it...

I had some serious problems as a child - but her talk with me tonight started a healing process I thought I would never have... now I actually have hope. Because SHE was the only person that had the love enough to tell me the things I had to hear...

I'm going to be okay - with friends like Christy, I know it...

Life IS too short to wallow in the past - tomorrow is going to be a new day...

Work and Web Cams

Got the green light to start working on a new layout for CCR's official site - FINALLY!!! I'm so excited about redesigning that web site... and the new one is going to BLOW MINDS I promise you, lol... I'm hoping for an April launch - but we'll see how fast we can get things together... I'm not going to say anything about it - don't want to give away anything, lol... but I'm sure, POSITIVE, that people will like it... :)

Got a web cam today - Christy has been on my ass trying to get me to buy one for over a YEAR now, but I just didn't have the fundage - well, I had a little extra money, so I bought one... now we can see each other when we IM - which will be cool... perhaps I won't miss her as MUCH if I see her online... it will be fun anyway...

Well, I have to finish installing this thing... it's taking longer than I thought it would.

BUSY BUSY

Sorry I haven't been updating - I've been quite busy lately.... getting ready for Kristine's show that was on Friday at Krave Nightclub - AWESOME show too!! I also ran into a couple of Kristine's old (meaning time, not age, lol) dancers at the show that night. It was SOOOO good to see them - and we all shed some happy memory tears - then traded email addys and phone numbers so we could keep in touch - and believe me, I WILL be contacting them frequently - I missed them like crazy!

Also, been working on the re-design of Christy's Fan Site, haven't done any work on that in awhile, so I felt it was due. I added a tag board and guest book too, so it could be a more interactive site. Hope the fans like it. :)

MY personal site, http://designsbydeeva.com , has been updated as well. I had to ad some graphics I've done recently, as well as change out the thumbnails for a couple of sites that I redesigned...

I think that's about it for now... I'll try and update more later on...

Slacking

I know I've been slacking lately here - and I'm sorry. Just have some major drama in the personal life lately, that I can't really talk about... and I'm fine, so don't worry about me... it's others that I am concerned about - and I'm doing everything to make sure that they are fine as well...

It's Thursday already, I can hardly believe it! This week just FLEW by - probably because I was sick for two days, who knows...

Happy Valentine's Day to all (4) of my friends!! :) I hope you guys have a GREAT day today!! I'm in a fantastic mood - feeling MUCH better - and the weather is great... did you ever notice that sometimes the weather can affect how you feel? Weird huh?

So anyway, I saw "The Secret" last night - thought it was awesome. I recommend it to those who haven't seen it. Great, just great. :) Thanks to my bud Christy for giving me the opportunity - and yes, I've thanked her where she can actually see it, lol...

I'm at work right now - not much to do really... gotta help Miss K with her taxes - and NOT looking forward to that, lol... but the artwork for the CD got a green light, and the orders are all ready to go - yay!!

I've dumped another friend. Why? Because every time I talked to her all I heard was whining. This is a 21 year old girl with a baby and all she did was complain about shit. Wah wah wah. I heard her cry more than her 8 month old child! I don't need that in my life. I'm going to continue to surround myself with good, POSITIVE, people. That's MY secret, lol.

Ick

I'm feeling really shitty today. Actually threw-up twice, and I still feel bad. Spending the day in bed... I HATE missing work!! :(

Yes!

I finished the CD artwork for K - hope she likes it... I sent them to her for approval, and if she is happy with the work, we'll email them straight on to the printers so we can get the CDs out - we have some on back order, and I know those fans will be happy to get their copies...

Now I have to clean up my apartment - I've let it go for a few days, and my company is getting tired of "kicking shit out of my way to go to the bathroom." LOL!! Seriously though, I need to clean up...

Kim Possible

Season 4 starts tonight - my plan is to go out and purchase some chips, ice cream, and soda - then settle down for the 4 episode marathon they're going to run. There's also a rumor that they're already discussing a 5th season - which would be cool... we'll have to wait and see though.

I'm tired today, feeling kinda icky, don't want to really do anything - but I have to head out to the ranch for a few hours so I can get they CD art done for Kristine (extra $$$) - then I'm off tomorrow, which is a good thing...

Okay, I'm off like a dirty shirt - I know I'm slacking with posts, but there isn't that much going on, really... I'll try to do better...

Home

I'm home now - actually got home yesterday afternoon, but rolled in when the kids got out of school so I had to go back to work right away, and didn't get in my apartment until last night... I was so tired I didn't really feel like posting here - though I started a FaceBook account - anyone there, check out my profile and add me if you want;







Right now I have tons of things to take care of, then I have to head over to the ranch for more work... I'll try and write more when I get home tonight...

P.S. The only bad thing that happened is that I didn't get any pictures during my trip... :(

Off to La La Land

I'm up, packed and ready to go... I'm just waiting for Kristine to call to tell me she's on her way. I'm so excited about this trip. It will be nice to get out of Vegas - nice to see Christy - not for long, but at least it's happening... and I'm out of town next month too for a few days because I'll be going to Palm Springs with K when she has her show there... so the traveling starts today - and who knows when it will end? LOL Hopefully it will go on for the duration of the summer because then I'll be out of the heat... I'll keep my fingers crossed...

Anyway, I won't be able to update again until I get home... so talk to you all later!! I'll try and get some new pics to post too...

Tomorrow

Okay, TOMORROW is the day we're definitely going to Los Angeles... we're only staying overnight - but that's enough time to hang out with Christy for a bit - catch up on some stuff... perhaps have an all-night talk, lol... whatever... I'm going to see her - and that's all that matters... :)

Whoops

I actually MISSED an update yesterday - probably because I was so busy with K's daughter, lol... we had a great time too... took her to her violin, then we went to the Artful Potter - then lunch... then it was off to WalMart to do a little shopping - after that we came back here and played some games... then we went to the mall to shop some more, then to Applebees for dinner... obviously a full day... didn't get to sleep until after 1am - then we were up early this morning and watched a couple of movies before I took her home... she thanked me for the "wonderful" time, and I thanked her too... :)

Tomorrow, hopefully (could be Tuesday), K and I are off to California - L.A. to be exact... I've already warned Christy I'm coming out, so she said she'd have the couch all ready for me, lol... and just to let you know, it's the most comfortable couch I've ever slept on - so it's not insulting to me to be on it... ;) I'm just really looking forward to seeing her - hell, I'd sleep on her floor if it meant spending time with her... I haven't seen her in a couple of months, and I miss her like crazy... plus, it will be a nice trip - good time for me and K to talk in the car since it's a 4/5 hour drive...

Okay, so that's the update... and since I'm going to be gone over night - one of these days I won't be ABLE to post... but when I get back, I'm hoping to put up some new pictures... :) so keep an eye out for that...

Ugh

Kristine actually left tonight for Phoenix - and she took her son with her... I'll have her daughter for the weekend... there was a little trouble with the hubby, so it's best that we split everyone up for a couple of days - let things calm down a bit...

I'm really tired right now - I had a full day, and I just got home a little while ago... my plan is to play a bit at pogo.com - then have some ice cream - then probably go to bed... we're going to the Artful Potter tomorrow to make K's Valentine gifts - I'm really looking forward to that - should be a lot of fun...

Leaving Again

I can't wait until Monday!! We're leaving to go to Los Angeles and I'll get to see Christy and Adam!! I haven't seen them in SOOOO long - and Griff too... we're only going to be there overnight - but hey, at least I'll get to spend SOME time with my friends... it will be nice...

I'm so tired. And I don't know why. It's not like I've done anymore this week than usual - my body is just feeling really fatigued. I should go to bed - but I have to get up again in 12 hours, so I don't want to sleep the WHOLE time you know? Makes sense to me anyway, lol...
Kristine was supposed to come home today - but she went to New York instead. Said she wanted to meet up with some producers to try and get herself signed to a new label - that's what we're going to be doing in L.A. next week too - at least, that's what SHE'LL be doing, lol - I'll be hanging out with Christy & Griff (hopefully)...

I'm going to go and have a snack now - maybe watch a movie...

Just Got Home

Another VERY long day - first I was at the ranch from 11am until 7pm - then I had to go over to Kristine's to sit with the kids for a couple of hours - then I had to pick up Kristine's neice at the airport... sheesh, I just got home, lol...

Good news!! I was just mentioning on the journal a couple of entries ago that me and Christy are missing each other - and just today Kristine said we need to take a trip to L.A.!! So in appoximately 10 days or so, we'll be heading out there - and I'll get to hang out with my buddy!!! I can't wait to see her! And she's really excited too... we've got a LOT of catching up to do - there's only so much you can say in emails and IMs, lol...

Okay, I'm exhausted - have another full day tomorrow - so I'm off to bed...

Up and About

It's fucking early - well, it was when I woke up. Stupid maintenance in the apartment next door!! They shouldn't be allowed to start making that kind of noise until after 9am at least - but this guy was banging shit at seven o'clock!! And now that I'm wide awake and moving around, I hear nothing. Figures. Stupid bastard.

I have to leave soon - gotta get out to the ranch. Kristine is expecting me... I'll write more tonight...

Got some maybe bad news at the doctor today - but I don't want to go into detail until I know something for sure one way or another - and I won't know until next week...


Talked to Christy today for a little while - she's doing SO good - but shit, we miss each other a LOT! She actually brought up the "cuddle hugs" today - which made me sad... cause I miss those too... hopefully we'll see each other soon... anyway, things are going really well with her and Griff - which I'm extremely happy about. Hmmmm... maybe she can talk him into a trip to Vegas...

Well, I'm going to go now - I've been sitting here for close to three hours - and that chocolate chip mint ice cream in my freezer is calling my name, lol...

I FINALLY got my truck back - and it's got a BUTT on it!! By butt I mean a tailgate, lol. There's never been a tailgate on this truck since I started driving it - so it looks a little different... but it looks good. I missed my truck. I have named her "Red" - because she's a red truck - obviously, lol. Anyway - I'm so happy.

I feel like I've been gone all day... wait, I HAVE been gone all day! LOL It's okay though - like I've said many times before, I love my job - and today was a lot of work...

Found out the ad I designed is actually for a MAGAZINE!! Yup - it's for Findlay Volkswagon (local car place)... and I added my website to it so if someone else wants to hire me, they've got my contact information. I was so surprised to find out how they were going to use the ad - and Kristine didn't know either, and she recommended me for the job! She's really happy too. Yeah, I think 2007 is already started as a good year.

I'm FINALLY getting my truck back!!!

Damn Heater

I've had to sit here ALL fucking day to get this heater fixed - the guy came in once and cleaned the filter - so it ran for about a minute, then the plug shorted out and we had a small fire... nich huh? So NOW he's got to replace the whole freakin' unit! He SAID it would be done today. I hope so because I've had to sit here - and work has to get done dammit!! Tomorrow I have to work twice as hard to make up for all the shit that didn't get done today. Sucks. I DID get the ad done for Kristine's next show at Krave Las Vegas though... A-hole

I swear to God I'm only doing favors for my closest friends from now on - I can't stand people that aren't grateful to start with - and the throw shit back in your face because you have better things to do than deal with them. I know this sounds a bit cryptic - but let me fill ya in a bit;

I HAD this friend. Someone I thought was funny, and he was great to hang out with now and then. Now, I design web sites, as most of you know - and he asked me to do his. I quoted him a price, he picked a template, and the contract was signed. I set his site up for him, got paid, and I thought that was the end of it. THEN he started calling me asking me to make some banners for him - so he could promote his site. Now, I am an EXTREMELY busy person, but I did a couple of banners for him - at no charge - to be nice...

Here's where the shit starts - he's a fan of Kristine's, a FAN - and he asked to be put on the guest list of the last show she did here in Vegas, which, by the way, I have nothing to do with. He was told that if there was any room left on the list, he would be on it. Well, unfortunately there wasn't. It was only 10 dollars to get in the show - but instead, he decided to throw the biggest QUEEN hissy fit - calling Kristine names, and shit like that. Of course, I was pissed, and told him that I wouldn't be speaking to him anymore. So... out of nowhere, about two weeks ago, he sends me a message through my MySpace, and says "I know you don't want to have anything to do with me, I just wanted to say hi." - I ignored it. Obviously this pissed him off. So today I get another message from him... the jist of it saying I didn't know how to design a web site - and saying that I screwed him as a friend. Okaaaay... funny - he chose the template. So I didn't really DESIGN his site - I just put his picture and stuff on it - and tweaked it for him. But he won't admit that it was his fault. All because I wouldn't say hi to him. Whatever. My thought is that Kristine has a show coming up in Vegas again next month, and he wants to go... HA HA HA!! That's not going to happen. He's a stalker that needs to get a life. And as far as I'm concerned - he's not getting anywhere NEAR Kristine, next month - or ever. Idiot. I hate drama queens. And I won't even go INTO what another "friend" is doing. I'm so over these idiotic people.

Okay, back to work - I've got to get this ad done - and soon. The show is on the 23rd of February.

Uggggh

I fell asleep with a head-ache last night, hoping it would be gone by this morning... it's not. I feel really sick - and I have a LOT to do today and tomorrow, so I don't have time to relax... that sucks...

As a matter of fact - I don't have time to write much right now... perhaps later, when I get home, if I'm feeling any better...

... and pissed off...

OMG, I've been so crazy busy the last two days... I hardly have a minute to sit down... and I'm pissed off too - cause I came home this morning and my cat had knocked my camera into the sink - so it's fucking ruined. And there was film in it too! I know it was an accident - but it was the only 35mm I had - so now I have to go out and buy a new one - and the film that was in THAT camera, well, God only knows what was on it... shit...

Okay, I have to go - I'm hungry and I need some breakfast.

Relaxing

I'm at Kristine's right now - relaxing with the kids. Whoo what a crazy morning - trying to get everything together for K and her two shows - including costumes for her AND dancers, instruments (guitar, sax, etc...), suitcases, passport (she's appearing in Mexico tomorrow night)... not to mention other errands that had to be taken care of BEFORE she left - yikes, what a rush, lol. Quick hug, our "I love you"s, and she was off... of course, she's already called FIVE TIMES since then, lol... she had a connecting flight in Dallas about an hour ago - and she called me twice from there... I'm sure she'll call me from Mexico later too, lol... no big though - at least I'll be able to talk to her even if I can't see her... that's better than nothing...

Christy left the sweetest comment on my MySpace - I love her SO MUCH!! She's so awesome - and I miss her like crazy. It looks like I won't be able to see her until March though - which sucks... hopefully this won't be the actual case. I just don't see how it can be sooner. I don't know. Maybe something can be worked out. Or maybe I can talk Kristine into going back to L.A. before that... I hope so...

The kids are quiet, and I have other work to do - so I'm going to wrap this entry up... night all! :)

Oy Vey

I had a nice dinner with my friend and her son - I haven't seen HIM in about three years, but he looks about the same - except for the HUGE holes in his ears, lol. And he pretty much acts the same too - but we've always got along, I've known him since he was around 13... Loni (my friend) looks great too. Hasn't changed a bit. Hopefully we can see each other again before she goes back home, but we'll have to wait and see...

Bleh

I feel like crap. I have to go out at noon today, and lord only knows when I'll be able to come home and go back to bed. Kristine is leaving tomorrow - she's got shows on the 20th and the 23rd, so I'm not sure when she's going to be back in Vegas. I'll be staying at her house tomorrow and Wednesday night because the hubby doesn't get back until Thursday, and there's no one to watch the kids. Except me. So I'll be responsible for getting them to school too. No big.

I'm supposed to get together with my friend from Oregon tonight - but I haven't heard from her at all. I guess I'll try giving her a call sometime today to confirm. I have a plan on how to get Kristine to stop by and meet her - let's see if it works.

That's the update. I'm sicker than a dog - but the world hasn't stopped for me, lol...

How Cold Is It?

This is a fountain in Kristine's backyard that runs constantly - USUALLY... this fountain froze in about three hours time.



And I hear it's going to be even colder tonight. Thank goodness my heater works, lol.

OMG

First of all, I was supposed to sleep another hour - but I woke up ten minutes ago, and I knew if I went back to sleep, I would never get up at 8.  I have to get ready to leave for breakfast - but here's the shitty thing; I'm sick.  Yup, still sick with the cold that Kristine gave me about a week ago - and guess what else?  SHE's got bronchitis now.  Lovely.  Hubby is sick too - but hubby doesn't have to go out in 27 degree weather with a pack of second graders for four hours like I do.  I've decided that I probably won't go skating tonight...  I'm hoping that Randy can help Kristine with the girls at the skating place - so I can come home and get some much needed rest...  this being sick sucks.  I've got friends coming into town this weekend, that I hope to get together with on Monday - and I don't want to sit there during our visit blowing my nose and coughing...  I haven't seen them in awhile.  I want to go back to bed SO bad, but it isn't an option.  I just have to get out and get this stuff done today, and get back here where I can be warm and comfortable.

WOW

Wow, I just got home from an AMAZING Italian dinner...  me, Kristine, her kids, some other little girls, and the hubby - all sitting at this table, eating the BEST food ever!  It was great.  The hubby actually cracked a couple of jokes that I thought were funny, lol...  everyone seemed to be in a pretty good mood tonight - which is awesome.  It really was a nice get together - and I'm sure Elizabeth had a great time.  She wasn't complaining, lol...

Tomorrow we've got another big day.  What we're calling Elizabeth's Birthday Bash Pt. 2 - first it's breakfast, then "The Artful Potter", then an early dinner, then off to the skating rink (roller, not ice) - hopefully I'll be able to come home and crash after that, because I'm sure I will be EXHAUSTED!!

Good Morning!!

I slept like SHIT last night - kept waking up...  that always happens when I have to get up by a certain time...  like I HAD to be up by eight this morning to get everything ready for this weekend - Elizabeth's BD Party all...  so I was restless all night...  I usually can sleep until I wake up - and then get out and go to work - I don't normally have a wake up schedule....  ugh...

Anyway, have LOTS to do today - and I don't know if I'll be able to update until maybe tomorrow night - but we'll see...

Where Are YOU?

I'm at the ranch now - waiting for two o'clock so I can go get the kids - then I have to drive WAY across town to take Elizabeth to her violin lesson... I've already done what I have to do here - so yeah, just waiting...

I know I'm posting a lot here - but I'm gonna get my money's worth, lol... 

Kristine's horse Goddess is so close to birthing...  she's SO big!  I make sure I go out and say hi to her whenever I get the chance.  It's funny how this horse has taken to me - she follows me around like a big puppy...  some people are afraid of horses because they are so big - but I've never been frightened of them.  As a matter of fact, I ran barrels when I was 9 until I was 11.  I've always been comfortable around horses, perhaps it's because of my Native American heritage...  who knows...

Anyway, I guess I should find something else to do to take up the hour I will be here...  I'll write more when I get home tonight...

Son of a Bitch - and Griff - and More

First of all, my truck is BACK in the freakin' shop, dammit.... Kristine decided to go ahead and get the tailgate put back on since we're doing all this other maintenance... so basically I was TEASED with it yesterday, cause it was taken away from me again today - I HOPE I get it back tomorrow...

Griff, Christy's new boyfriend, is guest starring on CSI:NY tonight - and I think he's playing the rapist... thank GOD it's just an act... or I would have to kill him, and I'm not joking... he's a great actor though - and I've heard he's a decent director... sounds like she's hooked up with a good one this time... and I have met him - I met him the last time I was in Los Angeles with Christy - they were working on her next movie - and he's a really nice, sweet guy - great for her... I'm so happy for the both of them... :) and I can't wait to see them again... hopefully it will be soon. We're "discussing" it, lol.

COOL THING ALERT!!! In the new magazine that Christy is on the cover of - Relate - I got a credit. That's right - MY name is in the magazine - right alongside Christy's interview. For providing some photos. I think that's damned cool.  Go Christy and go ME!!

Quick Break

I'm home, for about twenty minutes or so, then it's back to Kristine's for dinner.

I'm watching her son for a little while - he's such a great kid - can get a little mouthy at times (he's nine) - but for the most part, I can honestly say he's probably the best KID friend I have... we always have fun together...

Early Morning

I'm so happy cuz I got my truck back yesterday!! I have been using a loaner for the last week and it SUCKED! But now I have my baby back and I'm a happy camper - the kids are happy about it too... the truck is just better all around... today we're having the tailgate put back on, but it will only be in the shop a couple of hours.

P.S. I'm STILL sick. Don't you hate it when only one nostril gets clogged?

Home Again

Well, it's 11:59 and I'm finally home.

I have a cold - just to let everyone know.

Okay, I've been fooling around here long enough. I'm going to bed as soon as I figure out the style I want to keep this journal for now - at least until I design my own... good night all!!

Paid

Okay, I just paid for an LJ account - which means I need to use this journal more often since I'm spending money on it, lol... I'm going to upload some more userpics as well... It's funny, I'm paying 19.95 every 12 months for something you can get over at GreatestJournal for free... ah well... seems there are more people over here - at lease people that comment on my entries...

Anyway, so yeah, it's paid for - which also means I can really use a new layout. I'm going to go look for one right now... since I have about an hour to play around with...  I FOUND A LAYOUT!!

I'm Batting a Thousand

Yeah, that's a saying you know - meaning that things aren't going the way they're supposed to... first the sucky chair - then I sleep late... but I have to book out of here - I'm about two hours past the time I was planning to leave - so I'd better jet...

My ass hurts. I need a new chair. Maybe next month. I'll talk to K about it - I'm sure she'll help me out when I tell her that the chair I'm using now hurts my butt.

I always forget about this place, lol. I only remembered this time because a friend of mine asked me to look her up here - so I did, and added her... Hi Loni!!! :)

Anyway, I've been so crazy busy lately it's not even funny... now that Christopher has left Vegas, I've taken on a LOT of his responsibilities with Kristine. Meaning that my days just got a hell of a lot longer work-wise. The mornings I usually have for myself, but once it hits two o'clock, I'm on the road until around 8pm - then at the ranch until 10pm or later... this is five days a week... sometimes six. And I was just told that I'm going to be helping K work out her taxes for 2006 - so my mornings are going to be busy as well. It's not that I'm complaining, far from it. It's just that doing all this stuff means I won't be online to update as much - hence the reason I've forgotten about this journal again, lol.

Everything else is going fine... not much time for anything else to be going on really...

Okay, I really need to get my ass back to work here - still have to do a little tweaking with K's current web site - plus I'm putting together a Kristine W. FANSpace on MySpace. Don't know why I never thought of that before. But a good idea - and I'll be putting up OTHER songs of hers - some that have been requested - so I should get a few people adding it... shit, I have to get busy and stop rambling... I'll try to update here more often - if I can remember, lol...
