Slammed

Between my sister's site, the advice column, the kids acting site, and now a site for another actor - I have been EXTREMELY busy the last couple of days - which is why I haven't been writing too much.  I haven't gone anywhere, I'm still here, but not as available, lol.  I love being this busy though - makes me feel like I'm really doing something...  guess I am.  :)

I'm also excited because I made an appointment to get my eyes checked - next Thursday...  and my new glasses will be ready about two weeks after that.  Just in time for me and C's fifth anniversary celebration.  I can't believe it's been five years - actually, it seems longer - feels like I've known her my whole life.  But anyway, she's taking me out to dinner, then we're going to go see the movie "He's Just Not That Into You" with Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connely and Drew Barrymoore.  I can't wait - it should be a fun night.

Anyway, as I said, REALLY busy lately - so I'd better get back to it.  Will write again soon.  Oh, and not much to really tell about the screening.  Had a great time, ate a lot of food, drank a bit, and saw a really funny movie that stars two of my favorite people.  So yeah, fun night.

Crazy Stuff Going On

Yes, I'm still sick - thanks to those that are wishing me well, I really appreciate it - and hopefully I'll be well by Thursday, more on that in a minute.

I'm upset about the fact that ALL my shifts were cancelled this week - fucking sucks.  So no check at all next week from Disney.  However, my sister is hiring me to re-design her website, and paying me, so that will help - a LOT.  Still waiting for the advice guy to get on the ball with the content so I can finish up THAT site and get paid.  Also, trying to get Christy's site moved to a new host - which is a pain in the ass - but if things work out, we'll be able to get that done by Friday of this week.  The kids-act site is still "coming soon" because they haven't found a place to give the classes yet.  As soon as they've rented an office or studio, the site will be finished.  So yes, a lot of internet work going on.

Now, about Thursday.  Christy called and told me today that there is going to be a screening of her movie "Movin' In" at a photography studio here in Hollywood on Thursday - THIS Thursday!  I'm so excited to be a part of this - as I remember visiting Christy while she was filming the movie, and I also did artwork for the site that they liked so much they're going to use it as the DVD cover!  That's pretty awesome right?

So yeah, even though I'm still feeling crappy - there are some positive things for me to focus on.  That makes all the difference.

SICK

I'm not feeling well today, so I guess it's a good thing that they called me to tell me my shift was canceled.  This way I am still in the running for an attendance award...  if they hadn't called me, I would have called them, that's for sure.

Anyway, so yes I'm sick.  There's not much else to say except "ick".

As If...

You would think that I had enough website work to do, but no, I decide to update the Official Christy Romano Fan Site today...  the news and picture page needed work - plus I also needed to update the description and keywords of the site, because somehow it had fallen off the first page google results for Christy Romano.  And that's not good!!  So, I just spent the last two hours updating the site.  It's really one of my favorite sites that I've done, and not just because it's Christy - or just because I did it, lol.  It's just a nice site.

Anyway, so what's left?  Getting the advice column guy to look over his site and decide whether or not he's okay with it - and getting my sister's site started...  though I do have to wait for the information from her before I can start that.

AND, I have to work at the SF & SS tomorrow, Tuesday, and Saturday - so I have a busy week ahead of me.  It's all good though - I enjoy being busy.
