Crazy Crazy

First of all - THANK YOU to those that have been commenting lately, it does the heart good to know that someone is listening, lol.  I'm better now - actually, never was really what you would call "down" about the lay off - though it did catch me off guard a little bit I have to admit.  Anyway, it's all good...

The guy I'm supposed to get a check from today STILL hasn't shown up - and had the NERVE to ask me to sign an agreement that said that all the money I've made from him would be paid back if the site isn't finished in a timely manner.  Um, what???  First of all, I've NEVER had to return funds - and legally, should not have to return all funds considering I HAVE worked on the project.  Second - what the hell?  The damn site would be finished by now if he had gotten off his ass in the beginning and just given me what I needed, so it's not ME that's holding shit back...  so how dare he make that stipulation???  I told him that I would NOT sign anything that said I would give him a full refund, no matter what happens - a percentage maybe - but not the full amount.  He must think that this is the first website I've ever done, and I know nothing about the business - when it's actually HIM that knows nothing about it.  Idiot needs to learn some legal issues before writing up an agreement.  ANYWAY - that's not bothering me too much, really.  I have no worries about giving any money back because the site will be finished - and I happen to be in a very good mood about the work I've been doing.  There's always one asshole in the crowd though - always one that's hard to please...  luckily it's just the ONE and everyone else has been just awesome...

Other than the creep - it's all good.

F**K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I go into my evaluation at Disney yesterday - and I get LAID OFF!!!!!!!  There's just not enough business right now to keep me, not just me but a lot of people that were hired at the same time as me...  so yeah, I got walking papers with a promise that I could PROBABLY get hired back in May of this year.  Um, I don't know about that - we'll see.  Luckily I have had a plethora of internet work to do, so I am not nervous about my finances YET - we'll see how that goes as time goes on...

Good news!!  C and her fiance' are purchasing a house just a few blocks away from me!  I'm so excited that we're going to be so close!  Climbing that hill to get to her apartment was a bitch - I'm not going to miss that, lol.

Something else happened today - this girl, who saw me on LJ in another community, has been somewhat communicating with me.  Wanting to "get to know me better" etc...  But - she was afraid to call me on the phone.  She wanted to meet up with me in person, yet refused to call me on the phone!!  I'm sorry, I will not meet with anyone unless I've talked to them first - and I don't mean texting, I mean TALKING.  Maybe that's just me, but that's how I feel.  So I told her today that it wasn't going to happen.  She said okay, then deleted me from her MySpace.  Boo hoo - whatever.  Moving on...  personally, I'd rather not be with anyone at this time - we'll have to wait and see for later - but I'm just fine being on my own...
