I'm seriously getting over all the pop-ups and pop-unders on the internet. The reason I left LiveJournal is because it's FULL of them, and now AOL.com is dumping them all over when you go to check your mail - and MySpace too. Now, I DO have a pop up blocker, but when the ad tries to pop up, and can't, it takes longer for other areas of the site to load - it's infuriating and annoying. Facebook will be next, wait and see. I'm SERIOUSLY considering deleting the MySpace account because of it. Enough with the pop ups! No one will want to come back if you continue! I know you need to make money to cover the cost of bandwidth, but aren't thousands of ads all over the site enough? Perhaps you should get backers that can offer more money. UGH!!!

Just randomness and thoughtful ideas from me... could be anything really - what's going on in my head? Well, read it here, lol.

Independance Day 2009
I've been trying to think of celebrations from the past - and the one that sticks in my memory the most is the year that Loni, Codi and I went to the coast to watch the fireworks there. It was in Newport, Oregon - and it was just beautiful to see the lights over the water - I've never seen anything like it before, or since. Not to mention the fact that I got to spend the holiday with one of the sweetest and smartest little girls I had ever met.
Codi is gone now, but she definitely left the memories of fun times and sweet smiles behind. She taught me a lot about life, and how children seem to be able to grasp the meaning so much quicker than adults.
I think of Codi every 4th of July - because she made one of mine so spectacular.
Thank you Codi - R.I.P. little angel.

Networking
So, by importing my blogs to this one - all but my GJ, still trying to figure that out - I have narrowed down the sites that I visit, therefore making it easier to remember THIS blog, lol. If that sentence was a little confusing, I'm sorry. I think I walked about six miles today - don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, it's just that my brain has to re-hydrate for me to think clearly.
Anyway...
Here are the sites I am using frequently - Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Here... that's it. Just the four now. Quite a difference than before, I assure you.
So now, back to figuring out how to move my GJ here - so I'll have MOST of what I've been writing online all in one place. Sorry, no import for MySpace blogs or Facebook notes.

Now THAT Was a Chore and a Half
Just finished importing my LJ AND Blogger updates to this blog - posts that start back in 2005! The chore was clearing them all from being password protected - but I think I got them all, lol. I really should go back and check, but I have errands to run today, and time is fleeting...
So, if you feel like reading a lot, check out my older updates. :)

Happy 4th - Early, lol...
So, tomorrow is the 4th of July. I can tell you that I don't enjoy holidays in this city - especially ones that involved fireworks of any kind. Because even though it's illegal, there's always that ONE person (usually a lot more than one actually) that has to think they are above the law and decide that they can shoot off fireworks where ever they want. Now, keep in mind that the buildings are VERY close in my neighborhood - and there are people in my neighborhood ALREADY shooting them off. I'm sure there would be advice for me to call the authorities - but I have no idea who they are, I just hear the stuff exploding nearby. It's very nerve-wracking. Needless to say, I will be staying indoors tomorrow. One other thing, it is widely known that there are people that like to shoot guns into the air - um, people? The bullet will have to come down sooner or later - it's not like it's going to disintegrate in the sky. What kind of moron would do that?? But yeah, it's popular here. Another reason to stay indoors.
Anyway, all that said - I really hope my friends and family have a safe and sane (no shooting guns in the air!) celebration!

SO MUCH DRAMA
(This was originally posted on LiveJournal)
If you want to follow me on twitter - then go to http://twitter.com/delindamck - that is, IF you have one, lol. If you don't, you should get one, seriously. So much easier than trying to think up a whole blog entry all the time. You're limited... oh hell, check out http://twitter.com for the info - I don't work for them, lol.
Busy as usual. Working for a director right now - have been contracted to do several sites for him, the first one will be launched soon... just working on getting the videos online.
Still live in the same place, and yes the roommate is still getting on my nerves - however, until I get a more frequent income, I'll be unable to move. Hopefully by fall though...
Pretty much it - though I update several times a day on my twitter account.
I won't be back on here much - TOO MANY POP UP ADS!!!
Just sayin'
