Meh

So we didn't get REAL rain today - not for long anyways - and it was spitting up tonight... dayum the wind was blowin' and there was cool lightning out there, but I am seriously parched from this drought we seem to be in... sucks.

More work tomorrow - but I won't be going out to the ranch. I'll just stay here until it's time to pick up the kids from school - and then get them to their activities. Friday is the same - but I hope K comes home on time that day so I don't have to drag the kids over to the airport to pick up Karen... I will if I have to though...

I'm not feeling that hot right now - I've got some seriously bad cramps - I'm thinking about going to bed - but I have a feeling that I'm going to get a phone call soon... I hope so, cause I've got to know what's going on, lol. I'll just lay down and talk. ;)

Two More Days

Not counting today, or the day she gets here, it's only two more days before Karen arrives for our week together. What's really cool is that it looks like I'm going to get paid around the same time, so I will definitely have money - yay! Though I would have liked to recieve my check earlier - at least I'll have it at the time I will certainly need it. :)

I didn't go outside at ALL yesterday - it's amazing, but true - why? Because it's too damned hot!! I have to go out today though cause I have to send something out in the mail - and also work...

Rent is due today.

Sacramento

So Kristine calls me last night, while she was still in Sacramento - talking about how it's there that she now wants to move. And she wants to take me with her... hmmm, I think it's cooler there... I'm up for anywhere but here that's for sure, so if it has to be Sacramento, then so be it...

Been watching the kids crazy this weekend cause Jack had a golf tournament, and as I already mentioned, K was in California - but everyone is home now, so I am as well... and it's nice to be home - could be taking tomorrow completely off - we'll see. It's not that I don't enjoy being with the kids - we always have a great time together - but it will be nice to have a little break.

Still looking forward to the visit from my friend on Friday - I won't have a lot of moola, but I'm sure we'll find something to do to keep us busy while she's here.

Okay, I'm craving a little ice cream... gonna go have some now... ;)
