So I've been house-sitting for the last week over at K's - it's kinda cool... I mean, I have access to a pool, and a jacuzzi, etc... plus the house is pretty damned nice - but it's weird to be there alone... it's big, and empty when no one else is there but me... I get over it while watching the big screen TV, lol...
HEAT - HOT - SCORCHING!!!
What the hell???? It's times like this that I seriously wonder why the hell I came back to Vegas... I mean, my GOD it's only JUNE and we're already hitting temps averaging 115 degrees - is that sick or what? I am SO looking forward to getting out of town at the end of next month - the San Diego trip should be a blast - and I KNOW it will be a LOT cooler... in the meantime, I stay in as much as possible... just picking up K at the airport today wiped me out...
This is the only night I'll be sleeping in my own bed - so what the hell am I doing at the computer? Oh, it may have something to do with the four hour nap I had earlier, lol... why is it that heat makes you tired? My poor air conditioner is working overtime... thank goodness I have a studio - I could just imagine my electric bill if I had a bigger place... yikes...
Picked up two new web site design contracts this week... pretty cool - now I'll have some "play" money - yay!!
Okay, I think that's it for now... I really should try to get some sleep seeing as I have to take K BACK to the airport tomorrow afternoon...
