What?!? WHY???

So I go back to work today after two weeks, and for the most part, I had a really good night. Until I realized they put the SLOWEST person on the job duty that takes the longest... dish duty. The dishwasher is always the last to finish because they have to wait for the food side AND the ice cream side to close - needless to say, we don't close everything until the last person is out the door. Locked = Closed... and we can't lock people in, our doors don't work that way. Anyway, so the girl doing dishes tonight is a nice enough girl - very sweet - but VERY slow... so she ended up with me and four others in there helping her out so we could get out at a decent hour. What were they thinking when they made the schedule??

On another note - I've decided to go for an attendance award. It's not hard - they give one every ninety days. Not ninety days that you work - but every three months. So I'm only working two days a week - ergo 24 days scheduled in a three month period. I'm sure I can handle making it to every shift, lol. So that's my goal - the attendance award.

Nothing else going on - got company again tonight. I think she doesn't like being alone, and since the boyfriend is away - well, here she is with me, lol. It's cool though, I love spending time with her - since at this moment in my life, she's the only one that really knows who I am. It's nice to have someone around that understands me.
